The ocean waves crash down upon each other.

A wistful, melancholy ring floats above the disappearing, reappearing tones.

Not a single sound is heard with the exception of the whispering waters on the dreariest of days.

A salty mist lingers above the wrecks as a gentle breeze sings by, calming the minute droplets back into their home.

There is no breath here.

Only the heartbeat of the pulsing waves and the life of the water.

A continuous, lonely sigh hums throughout the air, reflecting the somber aurora in the ocean's complete.

The author's comments:
Sitting quietly in my desk, I get this urge to describe a meaningful landscape. To me, this sad view is beyond beautiful. It completes a lonely feeling that bubbled deep in my chest. It describes a lot of people, how they feel, how they perceive their world. I hope that those who read this piece enjoy it and can relate. Thank you.
