Long forsaken,
forever forgotten,
the original chemistry,
the belief of eternity,
metals to gold,
made by the old

water of the sea,
air that we breath,
our soil, the earth,
fire in the hearth,
stone of philosophy,
elixir of longevity,
three legions,
three regions

the story of alchemy,
lost to history,
trying to find what couldn’t be grasped,
until they breathed their very last
