Just a Look out the Window
Just a look out the window
On one side the sun is rising
on the other the moon is falling
As raindrops tinker on the roof
thunder booms overhead
The caterpillar will start to cocoon
soon enough the butterflies will begin to bloom
With the air hot
the crops spring up
Wind moving the waves
on the shore they hit
While the leaves are dying
the oak keeps aging
As the heat starts to lower
the animals begin to disappear
Just by the deafening wind you can tell the blizzard is coming
and no life will be seen out the window
While the lake starts to freeze
the snow keeps falling
