Tattoos MAG
I wish my existence was like the ink on
your skin
But I'll never be as important
And I'll never be as permanent
And I'll never be as beautiful
And they'll still be there
When I'm long gone
But at the same time
I'm glad I'm not the ink on your skin
Because I don't represent those drunken mistakes
And I don't represent the death of a loved one
And I don't represent a stupid attempt at being “cool”
And I don't represent the desire to rebel against your parents
I may not be able to kiss your skin every second of every day like they can
But hopefully you'll never regret me like you regret them
