Exotic Mellow
Some days when I wake up I’m an exotic pink,
Ready for whatever challenges the day brings;
My instincts sharp, and my face bright with delight,
These are the days I spread joy between others and myself.
Other days, I pull myself out of bed,
Feeling a soft greenish-yellow, wanting to hide from the world,
Feeling peaceful and full of serenity.
These days I feel very mellow and just lonely.
ALthough, one I prefer more than the other,
I can’t help that,
They are both me!
