Past childhood memories, Plague me in flashes...
ISOLATED-BETRAYED-HURT by those with like-blood,
Cause emotional rivers overflow Crashing-Crushing, inner flood..
Praying for the will to stand tall. Trying to look strong, amidst the storm,
Dangerous chaotic, winds of change mute colourful hue to invisible form...
Dark clouded thoughts Beckon, Growing, Moving, ever near
White knuckling your grip to all you hold dear...
Rushing waters too strong to fight,
Dam of pain breaks-overrides the light...
Voices of dread growing louder
Life unravels constant upheaval
Trying hard to speak some fight in a tunnel of despair and evil..
No energy left to move forward in hope, nightmare winning its downward quest,
Tear drenched pillow, one last breadth No more pain eternal rest!
This is dedicated to my friend, Celine who took away her own life on 16 April, 2013.
