The love of a soldier,
Is the love of a fighter,
The strength of a boxer,
The smiles of a child,
And the pain of a plague,
The kiss of a soldier,
Is a peck of sorrow,
An ounce of relief,
A glimpse of light,
And a blink of bliss,
The hug of a soldier,
Is an embrace of lust,
A tender shield,
A gentle shelter,
And a safekeeping of soul,
The love of a soldier,
Is the love of a warrior,
The strength of venom,
The smiles of a cheater,
And the pain of bullet.
