It survives


A flightless bird

It remembers the days
Of the wind between its feathers

Those days are no more

With a hindered wing
And a twisted foot
It doesn’t live

It survives

With its useless body
It carries on with hope

It remembers the days
Of the wind between its feathers

Will it fly again?

I like writing poems about nature, life, people. I got inspired because I saw this little bird that couldn't fly and I felt bad for it.
