Your soft sweet melody
Makes me sleepy.
The way your golden gears spin
Mesmerize me.
I am in a trance.
As Papa twists you
And hums along,
My heavy eyes
Fight to stay open.
He puts me in a trance.
Papa is gone now,
But you remain.
I sometimes hear him hum,
But I know you're just a box.
You put me in a trance.
You hold more than a precious melody.
You hold memories.
You hold Papa's spirit.
You hold his heart.
I am forever in a trance.
