Left in the dust of the sandbox
It rather seems that
everyone has at least
one other half
one best friend
a partner at the swings
taking turns
pushing
and gliding through the air
physics and all that
while I sit on top of the slide
alone
but perhaps I am lonely
because
I pushed people down rather
than pushed them up
higher.
