Pick your heart up off the floor
Sometimes, there are things you can only do alone
You can cry for now but just become stronger the next day

It taste like your first, probably your only kiss
When you kiss that sip of tea good morning, and leave a coffee mug stain
It sounds like,
the person you admire sitting across from you

When he walks towards you,
his words just go through the book that you're hiding behind, and out the other side towards someone else
Like the way how when you speak to him, your words only go through one of his ears and straight out the other

It feels too hot or too cold, when you step your foot outside to go for a walk
The weather.. is never neutral, for warm conversations, or the chilly sensation of goosebumps wen someone is walking towards you to say hi.

So you step your food back inside the door.
Because you don't want to go outside anymore

Loneliness has its own language
It builds your home
when you leave a door open,
ANYTHING can come in
but nothing ever does
So they're all shut

Loneliness has its own language
It makes you color blind
You can't tell the difference between the hallway walls
and the pale faces that look at you
They all look like walls
They all are built strong
In order to compress you narrower,

I have claustrophobia now,
Because these narrow hallways make me feel like im locked in a closet
I can't get out of the closet because its nailed and buried underground

This closets made of glass
I can still look up and see everyone walk the ground on top of me

Never have I felt so close but so far away
Like the walls

Loneliness has its own language
That before you go to sleep
And when you wake up in the morning

That short time you have,
the leisure you have to yourself before anyone demands anything of you
Picking out what to wear, your hair

Only to be reminded
Those extra stuffed animals that are overloaded on your bed and feel warm,
Warm!!
The neutral temperature you can't find outside in the world
That they, are still inanimate objects
