Even with all of its imperfections and terribly awkward proportions,
This place is beautiful,
It's precious in all of its uniqueness,
Despite its diseases of bugs and imperfect people,
It's a fantastically awe inspiring place,
It's over abundance of things to see,
To feel,
To experience,
This earth is beautiful,
It has it's moments of relentless pain,
But it is lovely,
I used to hate this place,
I focused on the pain and anger of this world,
But now,
Looking up at the endless star filled sky,
Feeling the cool breeze sweep over my face,
And smiling about the icy chilled lake water between my toes,
I know this place is perfection,
Many would argue an opposing view,
It isn't perfect,
The disasters and suffering,
How could a world like that be perfect?
My answer is my most honest feeling,
The typical idea of a perfect world,
There is no hunger,
There is no thirst,
There is no pain or suffering,
The disasters are none to be found,
But in this perfect world,
There is balance,
For every smile,
Must be a tear,
For every mended wound,
A new one must be made,
Balance is perfection,
This world has reached perfection as of now,
There is war,
And there is peace,
There is famish and parchment,
And there is eventual repayment,
This world was not meant to meet our ideal perfection,
It was meant to meet real perfection,
This world is perfection.

I was on vacation and I wrote this poem while I watched shooting stars around a campfire in Michigan. It is now going to be my new philosophy and motto. Hope everyone enjoys!
