I hope the Ashes fall
back to where they belong
in the Ground, growing Flowers--
maybe Roses,
maybe not.
But they will fall,
unless you stop them,
and things will grow--
Hope, Love, maybe Joy--
eventually will grow
if you let them.

Based on the child's prayer that goes like this:
"Now I lay me
Down to sleep,
I pray thee Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray thee Lord my soul to take."

From a prayer to the inspiration of your poem here. It goes to show that art may show no boundaries. Similar to Mufasa`s nature speech with Simba in the Lion King. We are all connected in some way, even to the plants.

I was good fro what it is. I like hwo you derived inspiration from sucha simple prayer and made it something else. I love the topic although I wish that there was a better flow to this work.

My only love sprung from my only hate. Too early seen unknown and known too late.

I like this poem a lot. I think it shows that even if someone you love dies you can still move on. Keep up th egood work.

&quot; And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don&#039;t believe in magic will never find it.&quot; <br /> Roald Dahl

This is great. I love the idea of still being of use to the world after you die. At least that's what I got from this poem. The only thing I would say is just to put more feeling in it. Other than that, I loved it! Keep it up.
