Losing you

The deepest wounds are the ones not seen,
The hardest things to deal with lay just under the surface.
When forgetting is easier said then done,
And walking away is the only option.
Some are torn between the rifts,
Some drop the situation.
But this situation is a hard one to bare,
When loving that person is the only thing you yearn.
Regrets make life harder,
And the past amplifies them.
When love is shared between people,
It can't just go away.
Love is an everlasting thing,
And once you truly mean it you don't forget it.
