Will it Hurt When the Seasons Change?
As colorful leaves
Turn
To falling white snow
My heart
Continues to ache
For your beautiful love
Your beautiful words you say
That only a few of us have ever heard
Do you miss me?
Like I miss you?
Because, oh it hurts
When I see you alone
And know I’m the same
Oh it hurts
When I saw with her
And knew it could’ve been me
Did you mean what you said?
Did you mean to break me?
Shatter me
Break me
I am history
But as the snow melts,
And green grass comes into view
Will I be with you?
Or will my heart ache?
Will it hurt?
When the seasons change?
They change
And so do we
From kind to cruel,
From soft to hard,
And everything in between
I dreamed that I would be with you
On a plane, at 3 a.m.
Falling asleep on your shoulder
As we traveled to D.C.
Too bad you won’t be on that plane
Too bad we aren't speaking
Will it hurt?
When everything changes again
Will it hurt me?
