Spring fever MAG
Yellow tulips blooming early
While cold frost melts on the windshield
Spring and winter fight for control
While life still thrives under the covers
Daffodils brave the snow
Like warriors in a losing battle
Their frosty petals wilting
But no one really knows
Birds make nests; never inhabited
And animals come out of dens
Only to return again
