"Some people come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime."

You don't love me
The only thing it can be is lust
Only loving my breast and my bust

You don't love me
How can you love me when you don't see
Can't see me for my heart and smarts?
To you I'm just physically a work of the arts

You don't love me
Because of the simple fact you don't know
How I manage just to go with the flow
What I do for my friends and family
All because I know of the harsh reality
Of life itself

You don't love me
Because you don't know that I have so many fears
And that I try to push them away so I can wipe others tears
Yet, you can't seem to be able to wipe mine
Because you haven't taken the time
To see me for who I am and who I want to be
And you could and will never ever
Love me

We all know when someone says something you want to hear. For me, having someone be able to actually say "I love you" and mean it instead of just saying because you feel it's a necessity would be something I would love to hear. That is why I wrote this poem.
