The Important Thing About Spring
The important thing about spring is that it brings new life.
It brings tulips and daffodils, bright yellows and rasberry pinks.
Spring brings drizzles and April showers.
It is watching blossoms glide through the air and embracing every moment when the sun shines.
Looking up at clouds and making shapes is a sure sign that spring awaits.
Spring brings charcoal skies filtered with light, and the tree-lined driveways are all decorated with fallen blooms.
But the most important thing about spring is that it brings new life.
Springtime memories are the ones that are held close; memories of daisy chains and flower crowns, and running around in open fields.
Raindrops float down from the sky, feeding the new flowers and keeping them alive.
Spring is driving with the windows rolled down, and the wind flying through your hair.
But the most important thing about spring is that it brings new life.
"Baaaaaaa!" says the baby lamb as it calls to its mother.
They are the only black sheep in this field of others.
Easter is coming as a sign to all that you can always start over no matter how hard you fall,
Because the most important thing about spring is that it brings new life.
