glisten softly, fellow light
Glisten, glisten; listen to the rain outside
the winds that howl, the cold that bites
shadows rearing up in fright
with images of barking dogs, whose noses
fill the mind with slimy smells
of watered land and grass that's green
and all the while you; glisten, glisten in the dark
The shine of moon and fainted stars lending you a luminescence
like a cat's eyes you reflect
waves of light that make up strands of blackish-blue
Blueish black surrounding you.
