I didn’t fail the test. I just found 100 ways to do it wrong. –Benjamin Franklin

“I hear America singing in the 21st century”
Dancing and playing in the street where they live
With the intensity of the sun brazing their very souls
Until the very debts of time and space collide
To create the very thing that every living being dreaded the most.
Without warning,
And without solitude;
Everyone would freeze just as they did way back when in the snow induced hell.
But is it stranger than fiction?
Or full blown reality?
The tantalizing, dark realm that everyone seeks
Is just a counterfeit interpretation of what never was.
Nothing to be seen,
Nor heard
Because what we are; are mere mortals writhing in a pit of unforgivable morals
Brought upon by a boxy glimmer of hope
Our repetitious deportment of various transgressions
Doesn’t make you ramshackle at the thought of being gone forever,
Or maybe it does?
We’re all going to fade away within the sound of silence.
