why do you always smell the book? open it bend it back smell the crack? do you want to solve the mystery? translate the pages into words you can understand? do you want to know what happens at the end? the kiss the murder or happily ever after? I remember that day as I stood in front of the class nervous and trembling finding some strange comfort in you smelling my book and then that recent day in french you brought me back smelling that open book mystified I tried to do the same but nothing came so tell me why do you smell the book?
