bff foeverr
your breath curdles
like steamed milk
in the ice cold atmosphere
you hold the neck of the bottle
real close
and swig back
state-of-the-art
expensive Vodka
or maybe it's
one of those really cheap brands
I don't know
but we're swinging back and forth
on a swing set
on a deserted beach
complete with silver sands
nothing better
and you're telling me about
your life,
as I discuss mine, always
we're catching up
my legs pump the air furiously
my faded golden hair gleams like the
rust of the swingset bars
i don't know why it matters
but it does
every little inch i smile
every bat of my eye lash
every innocent wink
because we're best friends
and we get each other
always
