Writer's Block

I blink at the blank page that seems to mirror my brain
the pen pressed hard on the paper
as if it wants to release my anger
The usually free and steady stream
of words seems to been back up at the spring
And yet I can’t force them free
or my mind lets out a scream
that makes me forget even the simplest of things
This is my trouble at the time being
