Eye of the Beholder
You spent all your time,
Trying to catch someone's eye,
While the rest of your life passes you by,
All for a girl who didn't know your name,
and for a boy who was only interested in playing games,
You call her your babe,
While someone else calls her "mine",
You think she's into you?
You're wasting your time,
People with closed minds and open eyes,
Follow those who are "beautiful",
but beauty is a disease afflicted onto human beings,
Beauty hides true feelings and personality,
You were focused on the the clothes he wears,
and the shoes he buys to impress,
but he was really a monster in dress,
But you would never know until you've invented your time in someone you were only interested in becuse of how they look.
