In this life
There are infinite universes:
Galaxies of endless combinations
containing
people
just like us.
Well at least that’s what some crazy scientists think,
but I prefer to think they're right
because in some of those universes
a guy
like me
meets a girl
like you
and in some of those universes
they will never know each other
maybe they'll just say hello
maybe they despise each other
or maybe they love each other
but neither have
the courage
to act
and their moment passes-
Just a blip in the fabric
of space and time
lost for all of eternity.
But in some universes
they will find each other
and fall in love
faster than the speed of light
and blessed by the courage
of infinity itself
they will get together
and be happy
loving
faithful
blessed and ecstatic
to be in each other's worlds.
Darling, let this be
that universe
for me.
