Blessed
You are mine, and all is right
Being with you is nothing but bright
Your angel kisses, your ocean eyes
The way you make me feel like a prize
The words you say, I can never forget
They’re reserved for me if I had to bet
But all the sudden, something changes
My whole world suddenly rearranges
I’m no longer your prize, but now something more
Tears come to my eyes as your knee hits the floor
Without hesitation, I squeal and say yes
As we kiss in that moment, I know I’ve been blessed

I was going to write a breakup poem, believe it or not. Somehow, this is what I ended up with, and it might be my first happy poem. Yay!
