From Me
  I planted a seed,
  And I watched it grow beyond my wildest dreams.
  I was proud of my deed,
  And I was glowing like beams.
  I created this form of life.
  I nurtured it in strife.
  I was there for it always,
  Always looming in hallways,
  But it fell apart right in front of me.
  It died before it had a chance to be,
  Something great;
  Something marvelous.
  My dream had died,
  I hid and I sighed,
  But the seed didn't last,
  It's all in my past,
  But I'll always remember the love I had, for it was infinite and vast.
