Caught.
He caught me staring,
But I caught him staring back,
I should have turned away,
But how could I not stare at someone like that?
He caught me walking by,
And grabbed me by the arm,
All he said was "Hi,
Please don't be alarmed."
He caught me picking flowers,
Later on that night,
He knelt down beside me,
His eyes twinkle in the light.
He caught me with a book,
And said I'm such a nerd,
Then walked off with his friends,
Who made him into a jerk.
I caught him playing football,
Running around in circles,
Cheering for the team,
Kissing other girls.
I caught his galce to me,
As he smiled and waved,
I turned around the corner,
Then just drove away.
I caught myself crying,
Over some little jerk,
I'm too strong for this,
But then I start to swerve.
I caught him crying in a chair,
Saying it is all his fault,
My grip slightly tightens,
Knowing what he wants.
He caught me staring at him,
I caught him staring back,
I can not look away,
So here's to a second chance.
