it's like my blood is the ocean

I will not lie.
My heart feels like lead and
My head like fuzz
And maybe those are cliche feelings
But they are cliche for a reason.
It is like my blood is the ocean and
The waves keep on beating but
I have forgotten how to love the water.
It is like my skin is the canvas and
I have realized
I had forgotten how much I love to draw.
And when you ask me my name I take a moment to remember,
I have spent so much time trying to forget who I am.
And when you ask me how I feel
I look into your eyes and
I'm sorry
I have to lie.
