My Great Escape

These wheels will be my escape
I pray they take me away
Along smooth pavements
And winding hills
I'll have my headphones
To whisper life into my bones
And light to lead me
This is where I belong
Cruising through the world
Chasing shadows
My board and I
Opening up to the outside

Ever since I saw the first skateboarder I've been fascinated in the action sport. Once I got my first board I've come a long way from where I began. I even have found my own skate teacher, who I can look up to as a father figure.
