Specks of sand slowly drop
Grain

Grain
Into the pot
Nothing is able to stop
The steady flow
Of golden grains
Draining from the glassy stained
Bulb
Tick tick
It never stops
Never lapses
And never collapses
Child, do you have
Dominion over this
Timer
That constantly
Climbs higher and higher
Of course not
Because who
Is able to stop these little
Golden grains
From building up
And eventually
Reigning
Causing your life to set
A flaming
