She's bleeding out
screaming in pain,
writhing with anger
As the crowd surrounds her
Stopping, Staring, Silent
while this woman,
barely a woman,
gushes red all over the sidewalk
like no one is watching
A woman,
barely a woman
surrounded by Stopped, Staring, Silent citizens
So concerned with getting to work
on time today
That they don't notice the blood
