The world runs like a grandfather clock
Never stopping for anyone left behind
Tick tock Tick tock
The clock will not stop
But we can stop the ticking clock
When pain and sorrow fill our mind
The clock will stop inside
Maybe for a moment, day or night
The ticking will be quiet and all will be alright.
