Three Beautiful Girls
They are the only ones who truly know me. I am the only one that truly knows them. Three beautiful girls with big eyes and wonderful smiles like mine. Three who do not belong here but are here. Three broken reasons to stay here. From our hearts, we can feel it, but Summer just sleeps and doesn’t comprehend these things.
Our strength is unknown. We send relentless thoughts to the islands. We stand up and we stand down and grab the sand between our little toes and kiss the ocean with glossy lips and never end our love. This is how we remain.
Let no one forget her reason for being, we’d all dry like starfish on a shelf, each with their arms around the other. Stay, Stay, Stay they say when I leave. They watch.
When I am too warm and too happy to keep leaving, when I am a tiny thing against so many snowflakes, then it is I look at my toes. When there is nothing left to look at on this peer. Three who smiled despite cold. Three who live and do not forget to live. Three whose only reason is to be and be.
