“It’s been nine months,” Sleep argued.
School replied, “You’ll have all Summer.”
“I’ve been neglected,” Sleep grieved.
A moment to think.
Both arguments are valid.
A debate for them, pressure on me.
“Please,” both begged.
Studying and good grades or sleep?
Regret tomorrow or later in life?
One sigh and one smile.
School wins, again.
