Dim Stars
When darkness comes and night doth fall,
the brightest stars are lit.
The stars that have acheived things,
The teachers pets, the jocks.
The ones all people love to whom they say "You'll do well in life."
But no one remembers the dim stars.
The writers
The poets
The artists
The atmosphere has filtered out their shine.
Now people say they see them,
they say " good work" and "way to try"
But it's simply all a lie.
So now I hope what you take away,
is that you make them see you.
You make them say hello.
For if you don't you'll fade away.
Forgotten by all, remembered by none
