Isolation
Waking up to
the desire of going back to sleep,
only for eyes to never reopen this time.
Blank stares at
the while wall while holding back tears,
so desperate to fall.
Spending the day
aimlessly, in hopes of it going by quicker
to avoid staying conscious.
Thankful for the
setting sun, only to crawl into bed,
and more the process to start again.
