The child cries silently in the night
No one to shield him from his fright
He crawls under his covers deep
Scared to move, scared to sleep
His body tense, his eyes closed tight
Can the demon see him in the light
The child cries silently in the night
Now he is grown
His fears have flown
He is at war
His feelings tore
He is a man now
Revenge is his, but how?
He was a child who cried silently at night
