My Father Goodbyes
My father in another room
Tells me he would be leaving soon
 To move on his own
Live in room that suit his taste
Play around in his own waste
Of women who don’t have my mother face
 I cry wait
Tell me is that all you can say?
 Are you really moving away?
 But he packs his bag
 Without looking back he walks
Into the depths of an empty stair case
Of our basement where he would stay
Under our heads as we lay to sleep of the day
