Sonnet 17
I walk a lengthy path of broken trails
Flowing memories reflecting times shared
Thoughts hit me like pieces of broken hail
All I can do is wish that you once cared
Smiles and laughter, the best memories
Even the bad times overpower tears
Like times were stuck, all a bright sudden freeze
These will be the things we reflect for years
Creating new paths in order to live
You know it's hard when you cannot forget
Even worse is knowing you can't forgive
Many people face struggles, you can't quit
Just live your life there's nothing to regret
May be hard but you will survive, I bet.
