Welcome to the place you thought you knew,
But don’t feel bad, we all did too.
Welcome to the place you’ve never seen,
Where you won’t know hate, you won’t know mean.
Welcome to the place you’ve dreamed about,
Because maybe they weren’t so far out.
Welcome to the place with no more shame,
No more cringing at your name.
Welcome to the place that was your hope,
Where you won’t need tears or ways to cope.
Welcome to the place where walls fall down,
Where you won’t look out the window and frown.
Welcome to the place with no more war.
Welcome home forevermore.

This piece has a true flow to it, once you understand what it's talking of... lov'd it!

I think choppiness provides for the personality of a poem and that if your flow isn't perfect it's ok. Great poem! I love.

I like the poem, but sometimes rhyming can get in the way of the rhythm and structure . .  hopeefully that makes sense.  But I do like the last two lines, especially, "Welcome home forevermore."
