If you thought that the "Twilight" movie and book were all in all breathtaking, then you'll love the new body that this modern classic takes on in "Twlight: The Graphic Novel, Volume 1." This wonderful adaptation done by Young Kim and supervised by Stephanie Meyer, brings the heart-racing love story of Bella and Edward to life in a whole, different dimension as each page is filled with beautiful dialogue and illustrations.

When Bella Swan moves from the big city of Phoenix, Arizona to the small town of Forks, Washington, she suspects nothing but boring normalcy going on in the small town. As she begrudgingly settles into her new hometown, she meets Edward Cullen, one of the cutest guys in school. He seems just like everything else in Forks: normal. But when he stops Bella from getting crushed by a car with just a single hand, she starts to realize that Edward Cullen is anything but normal. After a little reading and a lot of Google, Bella realizes that Edward has all of the mannerisms and attributes of a vampire. As Bella gets Edward to admit what he really is, and Edward explains to her what type of danger he is to her world, they start to fall madly in love. But, their out-of-this-world romance goes through a rocky patch when a band of evil vampires threaten their relationship and Bella's human existence.

With fluid, satisfying images that are as beautiful as the Cullens themselves, both the lovers of the movie and the lovers of the book will be throughly pleased as they watch the words from the book and the images from the movie become one in an extremely unique way that makes this an irresistable sumer read that you just won't be able to put down. Also be sure to check out "Eclipse," the third book in the "Twilight" saga, as it turns into a huge summer blockbuster on June 30, 2010. Enjoy!

It would be awesome if the graphic novel series was from Edward's view instead...

This took me about 1 hour to read through the whole thing. It was differnt because Bella and Edward have that slight 'emo' feel but the Cullen clan looked way cooler then in real life. So yes, i liked the book but would i pay over 20 bucks for it.. ahh, its kind of hard to say. probably not but its a good book to have as part of your collection, I just added ' The short second life of Bree Tanner' and it was worth it. You spelled her name wrong. It's Stephenie Meyer, not Stephanie. I read this and thought it was really good. GO TWILIGHT!! Can't wait till Volume 2 comes out!
