Capture The Flag by Kate Messner
Capture The Flag by Kate Messner
Secret societies, danger, suspense ,humor, you will find all these things in the book Capture The Flag by Kate Messner. She is the amazing author of The Brilliant Fall of Gianna Z; Sugar and Ice; and several other titles. This book was printed in September 2012, by Scholastic Inc. Personally I loved this fun, mystery-filled book. There were twists and turns that you would never expect.
Capture The Flag is a book about three kids named Anna,Jose, and Henry. Old Glory, the American flag that inspired Francis Scott Key to write the Star Spangled Banner, has been stolen! The three kids are snowed in at an airport with tons of people that could be involved in the crime, Robert Snickerbottom, who is running for president of the United States, and a mysterious man nicknamed "Snake Arm" by the three kids, just to name a few. Now it's up to the three young detectives, with some help along the way, to find the flag and return it to it's rightful place at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.
In conclusion I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about the American flag, or anyone looking for a quality book to read in their spare time.It has a sense of mystery that makes you want to keep turning the pages.
I give this a 5 out of 5 flags.
