New Moon
"Yes!" This was the disturbance heard by everyone in in theater 7 when my friend saw what thought was the most pivital point in the movie New Moon. You see, this was the beginning of Jacob Black's shirtlessness.
That's right, he took his shirt off. Or I suppose a more accurate statement would be he wipped his shirt off. Yes, it was a little cheesy and obvious, but it was a moment truly appreciated by the majority of the viewing audience. That action was foreshadowing of what was to come.
Most of Jacob's screen time after that featured him wearing only cut off shorts. It was, in my opinion, a truly wonderful movie. Some might think it shallow to base a movie review on an actor's state of dress, but, as I see it, that was one of the major components used in the promotion of the movie, leaving it fair game for reviewers like myself to comment on. Yes, the rest of the movie was also great, but for me that was the highlight.
