I could feel the thunder crack, tremble, and crawl through the ground and into my shoes. The lightning disintegrated my street lamp situated a few meters away from my house. The sound still rang inside my head as if I was just flash-banged. I could feel my house being bombarded with furious gusts of wind as the street turned into a deluge, Noah's Ark style.
