Walkin' down the hallway with my
head held high

Hopin' no ones noticing that
I'm about to cry

I try not to see their stares
To pretend that I don't care

But they're all birds of prey
Just waiting for me to break

Making my way down to class
trying not to go too fast

I know if I get lost
There's going to be a heavy cost

I try to scope the land
to come up with some kind of plan

But soon I begin to drown
In the unfamiliar sounds

Of a new school

Where being new
Is just not cool.

Thank you so much. This means a lot to me because I wrote it on my first day at a new school and I was literally pouring out my emotions on to the paper. In the middle of math class XD

Favorite Quote:
"According to some, heroic deaths are admirable things. (Generally those who don't have to do it. Politicians and writers spring to mind.) I've never been convinced by this argument, mainly because, no matter how cool, stylish, composed, unflappable, manly, or defiant you are, at the end of the day you're also dead. Which is a little too permanent for my liking." — Jonathan Stroud (Ptolemy's Gate)

The Good: Now THIS is OMG amazing!  I loved it!  It shows all the emotions of being left out in simple, yet beautiful, language.  This is going into my favorites - kudos! :D

The Bad: *FLAWLESS*

The Random: I'm just going to sit here and finish my critique and pretend I'm not weirded out by the fact I just read my own thoughts on a computer screen.... :) Seriously, that's how real this is.
