My Beautiful Worry
She has lurked on me for a while —
From the days when I was a small child.
She held me back from moments of potential tragedies
As she acted as my protective Shield.
She compelled me to reread every question on all my quizzes and test —
So I would always do my best.
I had other friends — Doubt and Concern
However, She was always the Nicest.
While some times we fought,
She always had a good thought.
She kept order and stability in my life.
Some might call her my Fault —
But to me, she’s a necessity— she’s my Anxiety.
