Our eyes conceal

The pain we reveal.

Our hearts love,

But we sit in silence.

Our ears hear quiet whispers,

Yet our lips are shut—

A million words in our head.

If you shake hands with one of us,

And feel the sweat of mystery coating our palms—

We are dreamers.

This is so good, normaly I find it hard to feel the imagry in shorter poems, but you nailed it

This is so good. I felt like I was completely absorbed in this. You see it in your day to day life in every face, sometimes hidden, sometimes not. I felt like you were speaking my everyday thoughts from my heart. Amazing.
