The Sickness
My body aches with pain of which i do not understand.
The festering sores of metaphorical pain blinds my inner self.
The sickness kills me inside making me lose all hope.
Day and night, night and day, I dream of relief--relief from this spastic misery.
The proverbial blanket that covers my eyes only temporarily masks the pain.
The sickness consumes me and destroys me with no sympathy.
I hope for relief to save me with a cure that is hidden well from our eyes.
The mystery which has plagued me for years has finally revealed itself.
Though i still seek for this cure day and night, night and day.
