"Knowledge comes, but wisdom lingers" by Alfred Lord Tennyson

I see

Angry souls,
I see

Burned hearts,
I see

Crushed tears,
I see

Deserted Faith.
I see

Everyone weeping.
I see

Fire,

Graves,

Hunger.
I see

Innocent deaths,
I see

Jewish stars,
I see

Shots.

I see…

Love.

Memories.

Nights.
I see

Opportunities,
I see

Prays,
I see

Quiet,
I see

Stars…

Strength…

Support…
I see

Values,
I see

Wonders,
I see

The Holocaust.
We see

The end,
I see

A beginning.

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece after reading the book Night by Ellie Wiesel. The book is about a boy trying to survive the Holocaust. The Holocaust brings lot of emotion out of me. I hope you like it
